How To Donate Food

LARGE-SCALE FOOD INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURAL DONATIONS:

Thank you to our food and agricultural partners – together, we are The Food Bank.

By making large-scale food donations, local growers and shippers help those in need, reduce waste, and receive tax benefits. We receive millions of pounds of food from local food and agricultural partners, who in turn helping Second Harvest feed on average 65,000 people every month.

To make a large-scale donation (anything that arrives on a pallet or equivalent), please contact Supply Chain Director Emily Freed to make an appointment (831) 232-8222. Our receiving hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30- 3:00 p.m.

SMALL-SCALE FRUIT AND VEGETABLE FOOD DONATIONS:

Your backyard fruit helps too!

For backyard, or smaller quantities of food donation, such as bags of lemons, apples, or persimmons from your garden, please feel free to drop off at The Food Bank between the hours of 8 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. No appointment is necessary.
