More Ways To Give
Donate Stocks, DAFs, QCG, and Crypto
Donating stock, mutual funds, Qualified Charitable Gifts (QCG), and cryptocurrency are wonderful ways to support The Food Bank. Making a gift of securities is simple and offers a number of valuable financial benefits.
Donating stocks allows you to avoid capital gains tax and often take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset. Use this tool to donate stock so we can track your gift, send you the correct receipt, and ensure you can get the tax savings you deserve.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations today. This tool automatically links with your DAF, allows you to recommend how you’d like your gift to be used and notifies The Food Bank of your intentions.
For Qualified Charitable Gifts (QCGs) and cryptocurrency donations, we have partnered with FreeWill to accept and process these gifts. Give QCG or cryptocurrency.

Planned Giving
Make a plan to ensure that all individuals in our community have the food they need to thrive. A planned gift is an investment in the future health and well-being of our community. To help you get started on your plans and legacy, you can use FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It’s easy to use, accessible online, free, and can be completed in 20 minutes. Start my free will.
Have you already included a gift in your will or trust? Please fill out this form, we would love to thank you for your generosity.
Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets, and you must plan for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.
For more information on planned giving, contact [email protected].
