Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County is dedicated to encouraging staff members to live a healthy lifestyle through health and wellness initiatives. One such initiative is tobacco cessation for employees who would like to quit tobacco use. Another is to protect our non-tobacco using workforce by providing a Tobacco-Free Campus. In addition to personal health hazards, tobacco use puts Second Harvest’s inventory at risk by exposing produce and food storage materials to micro plastics and toxic particles.
