reduce waste, and may provide tax benefits. These contributions support an average
of 70,000 people each month.

How to Donate Food

Large-Scale Food Industry & Agricultural Donations

Thank you to our food and agricultural partners – Nourishing Today. Building Tomorrow. We are the Food Bank.

By making large-scale food donations, local growers and shippers help those in need, reduce waste, and receive tax benefits. We receive millions of pounds of food from local food and agricultural partners, who in turn helping Second Harvest feed an average of 70,000 people every month.

To make a large-scale donation (anything that arrives on a pallet or equivalent), please contact the food sourcing team at (831) 256-7021, or [email protected], to make an appointment. Our receiving hours are Lunes – Viernes, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Small-Scale Fruit and Vegetable Food Donations

Your backyard fruit helps too! For backyard, or smaller quantities of food donation, such as bags of lemons, apples, or persimmons from your garden. Our receiving hours are Lunes – Viernes, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
