Make a Lasting Impact in the Community You Call Home
Planned giving is one of the most effective and sustainable ways you can support the vital work Second Harvest does. It enables you to plan now to feed hope for years to come. You can make a planned gift to Second Harvest in many ways to satisfy both your financial and philanthropic goals, including:
Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable Remainder Trusts
Gifts Of Residences
Be an Inspiration to Others
If you make a planned gift in the next two years, you will be a founding member of our Harvest of Hope Legacy Society. Harvest of Hope brings together donors who share a vision of our community as one where all citizens have adequate access to food and nutrition. This special Society recognizes honors and supports the thoughtful individuals who have included Second Harvest in their estate plans.

Quick Tip: Beneficiary Designations
A beneficiary designation is the easiest way to make a legacy gift. Simply name Second Harvest as a full or partial beneficiary on your beneficiary designation forms. You can do this for: retirement plans (traditional IRA, 401(k), etc.), savings accounts, and life insurance policies.
Just include our tax identification number 77-0326685 in place of a social security number and put “non-profit organization” in the space for relationship. Often, this option can offer substantial tax benefits for you and your family. As in all cases, please consult with your legal, tax or financial advisor for a professional opinion first.
