Eat food and fight hunger!
Second Harvest's annual Dining Out Helping Out fundraising event will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007. Conducted by Second Harvest Food Bank and co-sponsored by the Santa Cruz Area Restaurant Association, this event will unite over 70 restaurants in the fight against local hunger.
Last year, local restaurants raised over $16,000 and helped provide over 80,000 meals to local hungry families! We urge all local restaurants to participate in 2007's Dining Out Helping Out. Promote your restaurant as a concerned neighbor and boost your weekly business! Fill out a participation form here.
This one day event includes:
- 10% of proceeds or a flat donation at any of the participating restaurants will go to Second Harvest.
- Participating restaurants will be recognized in promotional materials, newspaper advertisements, appear on Second Harvest Food Bank website, supported with television (KSBW, KION & FOX35) and radio (KWAV & Clear Channel stations) ads.
