Rittenhouse Windows Sparkle for Holidays

Maybe you’ve already noticed the beautiful Second Harvest windows in the Rittenhouse Building on Pacific Avenue and Church Street. If not, be sure to check them out the next time you are downtown Santa Cruz.

Timerie Gordon of Nielsen Architects & Design Studio generously volunteered her talent and time to design and create the window displays. Kevin Ross of Ross Graphics contributed the printing of the images and installation of vinyl lettering.

Second Harvest is still working to meet its goal for the 2011 Holiday Food Drive. You can drop off non-perishable items in the barrels located at grocery stores, fire stations, schools and many other organizations and businesses throughout Santa Cruz County.

All food and funds raised during the Holiday Food Drive will be distributed by our network of 200 agencies and programs. This year’s goal is 2.5 million pounds.

Working together we can make a difference.
