The MAH offers fun, affordable events and exhibits throughout the year. During the month of November the museum has several fabulous food-themed events planned, including:
November 10th: Bubbles and Cheer tasting night
November 12th: Play with your Food
November 18th: Radical Craft Night including workshops, demonstrations, collaborations, performances, and music.
“The need for food aid in Santa Cruz County is up 38.3% since 2008,” said Second Harvest Chief Development Officer Danny Keith. “We’re feeding over 55,000 people each month and with a goal 2.5M pounds of food and cash equivalent for the Holiday Food Drive year, we couldn’t be happier to have the MAH on our team.”
“We all need food for body AND soul,” adds Nina Simon, Executive Director, The Museum of Art & History. “Partnering with Second Harvest is an ideal way to invite creative, caring people in our community to support nourishment for everyone.”
