Central Coast News KION Helps Raise Awareness

Central Coast News KION46 and Fox35 is helping raise awareness regarding the issue of child hunger on the Central Coast during the summer months. We’d like to thank them for their partnership and commitment to helping families in need.

Summer vacation can be a tough time for kids who receive a free breakfast or lunch during the school year because it may mean not having as much to eat. You can help by making a contribution to the Food For Children program, which helps local families by providing fresh fruit and vegetables as well as staple foods at 49 sites through Santa Cruz County.

Please note: The Helen and Will Webster Foundation has pledged $120,000 to match donations made to Food For Children before August 15, 2011.

Working together we can make a difference!
