Caroline’s Helps Local Kids

Caroline’s Non-profit Thrift Shop in Aptos is dedicated to raising funds for Santa Cruz County non profits that provide programs and/or services for children with special medical, developmental, psychological, or nutritional needs.

Second Harvest was among sixteen organizations awarded funding as a result of a very successful 2013 in the thrift shop. The presentations were made at Caroline’s Annual Gifting Reception on January 19th. Overall, Caroline’s gave away an astounding $200,000 to non-profits serving local kids. Second Harvest received $10,000, which will provide 40,000 meals to hungry kids throughout Santa Cruz County. Thanks to Caroline’s for supporting Second Harvest’s Food For Children program.

Caroline’s is staffed entirely by volunteers.
