Calvary Chapel Santa Cruz Kids Raise 1060 Meals

Every summer, Calvary Chapel Santa Cruz holds a Vacation Bible School. For the last two years, the focus of their Missions program has been Second Harvest Food Bank.

“We had about 100 children participating this year ranging in ages from two to twelve years old,” said Jan Petrik, Office Administrator for Calvary Chapel Santa Cruz. “Each day we would pray and remind the children that their giving would be to the food bank and that their generosity would be providing meals for children and families in their community. The children were very excited knowing that their giving would be benefiting other children.”
