Boardwalk Wellness Challenge Feeds Hope

At Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, employees participating in the company’s Wellness Challenge program track and report their monthly exercise. For every mile an employee walks, bikes or runs, the company donates $.50 to Second Harvest. We recently received a check for $500.00, which will provide 2,000 meals for people in need.

Bowling

Bowling at lunchtime is a fun way for Boardwalk employees to stay active.

We love this! An employee program that makes it possible for people to help others while helping themselves. It’s a win-win for the individuals, the organization and the community. “Second Harvest Food Bank’s commitment to feeding the hungry of Santa Cruz County has inspired our employees to get fit for a good cause,” says Rosanne Lichtenberger, Lead Nurse at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. “We are happy to support such a worthy organization.”
